Dear Sir/Madam

I wish to apply for the funds above inorder for me to pursue my doctoral studies in Diagnostic ultrasound studies. I hold a Masters degree from the university of Salford in greater manchester UK as well as a diploma in diagnostic radiography. I hold 4 years practical experience in the field and would appreciate an opportunity to pursue further studies in thsi field since I have a great passion for this field of study. I did a systematic review research about the trends in the radiographers’ profession towards the reporting of plain x-ray trauma films bearing in mind the critical shortage of radiologists in africa..
I solely believe that If I train in this field I will be a valuable asset to my Country as well as africa for Sonographers are in a critical shortage in Africa. I also hold Lectureship qualifications of which I believe that I will be able to train more students who could be aspiring sonographers for tomorrow.
I do hope that my application will be considered.

I hold MA in Journalism and is lecturing at Uganda Chrisitan University, Arua Campus.

I have been preparing to pursue PHD in my area of speciality for sometime. However, financial constraints could not permit me to take the study.

I therefore wish to kindly request you to include me in the Commonwealth Scholarship progam. Its very important that I pursue this study because my own people especially the marginalised northern Uganda very much need my service; and there are fewer people in the area of speciality.

My thesis at this level was titled “The performance of Water Utilities with Emphasis on Waste Water Services Provision” I was assessing the critical factors that contribute to good performance. I developed a criteria to categorize “good performance.
