Scholarship Description: A postdoctoral research post, funded by the BBSRC, is available in the laboratory of Professor Jon Clarke at the MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology immediately until 31 July 2013. The aim of the project is to contribute to an interactive online atlas of the developmental anatomy of the zebrafish brain. The project will involve original research on the development of the zebrafish brain and make extensive use of in vivo imaging, cell labeling and image analysis techniques. The candidate will also collaborate closely with colleagues in Professor Steve Wilson’s group at UCL.

The Materials Research Division at Risø DTU has an open PhD position within X-ray studies of dynamical effects in liquids and at interfaces at the Centre for Molecular Movies.
The research of the Centre focuses on obtaining snapshots of the rearrangement of atoms while fundamental processes are taking place in molecules and in solid materials. Using X-rays, we aim to create new methods for filming the intermediate structures of nanophysical or chemical processes.
