I hold a Second Upper degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University after graduating in 2006. My first job was at a private university in Uganda where I was the Public Relations Officer. I however joined the Media in mid 2007 worked in Nairobi, Kenya for one year. In May 2008 I returned to Kampala, Uganda as a reporter with Daily Monitor, one of the country’s leading independent daily newspapers. After barely six months, I secured a promotion as a regional Bureau Chief for Daily Monitor in the north of the country. Since then, I have been based in Gulu, a former epicenter of the armed conflict in northern Uganda. Following this progress and experience, I am now looking forward to pursuing a Masters programme in Media Studies or Communication related.
