The Claremont Teacher’s College Memorial Award: Physical Education, Sports Science and Human Biology is open to full-time ECU Bachelor of Science (Sports Science) Honours, Bachelor of Science (Human Biology) Honours, Bachelor of Education (specialising in Physical Education) fourth year students and Grad Dip Education (Secondary – majoring in Physical Education).
The award was established to commemorate the centennial of Victoria University of Wellington, and its support of educational opportunities for Deaf people in New Zealand. The scholarship is funded by the JR McKenzie Trust Deaf Development Fund.To encourage and enable more deaf students to achieve a tertiary qualification by studying at Victoria University of Wellington.
Financially support students pursuing engineering, business and technical careers with emphasis on energy efficiency, energy management, energy conservation, renewable energy, or other energy related field. Applicants may be attending undergraduate or technical school programs and must have a minimum of 1 year of study remaining.

Women In Defense, A National Security Organization, established the Central Florida Chapter Women In Defense (CFL WID) Scholarship Program in 2011 to encourage young women in Florida to pursue careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States. CFL WID will award at least (1) one $1,000.00 scholarship per year.
