The Scholarship

An annual $ 5,000 scholarship, and a half at the beginning of the fall semester and half in early spring is semester. The scholarships renewable for recipients up to three additional years provided the recipient continues to meet the above criteria.

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announces the Grote Chemistry Scholarship Program for 2012. The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Lawrence F. Skibbie Graduate Student Scholarship of up to $10,000 is intended to support one or more advanced graduate student(s) in engineering, science, or management. The award will also include a suitable plaque.

Financially support students pursuing engineering, business and technical careers with emphasis on energy efficiency, energy management, energy conservation, renewable energy, or other energy related field. Applicants may be attending undergraduate or technical school programs and must have a minimum of 1 year of study remaining.

Leadership and Community Service Award: Past recipients have shown significant leadership through high school organizations and youth groups, as well as volunteering at local family shelters and food drives. Women In Defense, A National Security Organization, established the Central Florida Chapter Women In Defense (CFL WID) Scholarship Program in 2011 to encourage young women in Florida to pursue careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States. CFL WID will award at least (1) one $1,000.00 scholarship per year.
