The department invites applications in areas such as open innovation, the market for technology licenses and patents, R & D collaboration, the transition to entrepreneurship, industrial dynamics, and other topics to see innovation or entrepreneurship as a question of economic organization.

Three-year PhD program at CBS allows you to conduct research under the supervision of CBS professors, supported by a research training program. PhD students will be enrolled in departmental PhD training program that includes a course packet of Economic Innovation, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Econometrics, Qualitative Methods, plus Publishing Course. The program is very international, and you are expected to participate in international research conferences and spend time abroad as guest PhD student at another university.

A PhD scholarship runs for a period of 3 years, and includes teaching obligations equivalent of ½ year of work (840 hours). This scholarship salary positions fully, in accordance with the Danish national collective agreement. Scholarship covers tuition fees, office space, travel grants plus a salary, currently starting with 23.770 DKK (app. € 3,160) per month up to 28.964 DKK (app. € 3,860) depending on seniority, plus a pension contribution of 17.1% of 85 percent of base salary.
Appointment and salary will be in accordance with Treasury agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
To be considered, candidates must have basic training at Masters level (similar to the Bologna process 3 2 +). Educational background in social sciences is required. The applicant must have successfully completed a Master’s degree before starting a PhD program at CBS. The applicant must be fluent in English. The Department will give priority to applicants with high grades from their university.

In 2009, the ESRC and PIC signed a financing agreement for a period of five years to allow for additional scholarships to be offered under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two bodies. The purpose of this scheme is to assist the recruitment and early development of gifted students in the demographics of students by contributing to the cost and maintenance costs. ESRC held a scheme to build capacity in areas of priority for the Council. Ambition in co-funding agreement is to actively improve research capacity in Demography in the UK.

Requirements

Scholarship requirements are limited to students accepted in a Master’s degree program with a high demographic content, leading to a Masters qualification in a Training Centre of the ESRC-accredited Doctorate.

Scholarships apply to individuals, organizations or institutions in the arts community and culture.

The Ibsen Scholarships are awarded annually and applications are subject to supervision by an appointed jury.
