The Scholarship

The Photonics Laboratory at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2), with about 25 members, conducts application oriented research in the areas of optoelectronics and fibre optics, directed primarily towards the development of new material, device and system technologies for optical communication, measurements and sensing.

The department provides a strong, international, and dynamic research environment with about 70 faculty and 70 PhD students from about 30 countries.
