[Belgium] Phd position and Postdoctoral position in molecular virology of HIV infection and AIDS
Posted by: In: PhD|Postgraduate|Scholarships in Europe
Our lab studies molecular virology of HIV infection and AIDS. Using transcriptome and whole-genome RNA interference analysis, we identified several cellular co-factors of the HIV nef gene. Current studies aim to validate these and to understand the role of Nef in the viral life cycle and pathogenicity. Techniques used are flow cytometry, virus culture, cloning, viral gene transfer, small molecule inhibitor and whole-genome shRNA screens, Western blot.
